Israel will relate to Russian speaking Israelis as equals among their peers.
It will enable them to earn a living and grow old with dignity, marry and be buried as part of the Jewish people, and their stories will integrate into the Israeli narrative. The 1 Million Lobby will work to impact decision makers on issues such as assuring economic security, equal religious and civil rights, and promote appropriate social representation for 1.2 million Israelis and their families, formerly of the USSR, and through them benefit civil society in general.
We’re keen on reviving this festive Purim tradition in Tel Aviv, together with Tziporella Theater Ensemble. The event will include a Purim Shpiel performance offering snippets of the Scroll of Esther story reflecting the difference between the festive Purim traditions of then, and today.
Showing the film “Healing the Longing” in Lev Dizengoff cinema center, after which a discussion will be held with the director and creator Artyom Dubski and his father, the film’s protagonist.
